
Pike County, Mo. (KMOX) - A Winfield High School senior is dead, the victim of an accidental hunting death.
The Pike County Missouri Sheriff's office says 18-year-old Trent Busch was shot and killed Sunday morning at the Ted Shanks Conservation Area.
Sheriff's deputies and the Missouri Conservation Department are investigating.
Busch's mother Tanika posted on social media that her son was doing what he loved, duck hunting with friends, when he died.
The Winfield School District has counselors available for students and staff as they mourn.
Trent Busch's visitation will be Friday evening from four until nine at the Winfield Primary School's gymnasium.
The funeral service is set for Saturday morning at ten at Immaculate Conception Church in Old Monroe.
