New Baden, IL (KMOX) - The National Weather Service releases information on tornadoes in Illinois.
Sunday evening an EF-1 tornado touched down southwest of New Baden and through Damiansville. The twister snapped large trees and branches. A large part of a commercial garage roof was torn off.
Another EF- 1 caused significant damage North of Carlyle, including downed trees and power lines.
EF 1 tornado started in Missouri and ended near Columbia in the metro-east. It was 8point-8 miles long.Read.
And in Clay County another EF-1 tornado touched down south of Forbes Lake, mainly causing tree damage . The tornado intensified to an EF-2, as it left the immediate bi-state region.
