ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The first baby of the year born in St. Louis arrived at the Women's and Infants Center of Barnes-Jewish Hospital at 12:34 AM on New Year's Day.
Margarita Perez Delgadao gave birth to the 7-pound, 10-ounce, 20-inches-long boy. Daddy Julio Laguna was on hand to welcome his son, the couple are from Overland.
Going forward into the future, Emiliano's birthday will be a national holiday, with most getting the day off, parades on TV and lots of special college football games being played.
Don't ever tell him it was already that way before he was born!
