An enormous plume of smoke stretched across the sky in downtown St. Louis Saturday morning.
It was the result of a fully involved, four-alarm fire at an abandoned warehouse close to the riverfront. Several fire departments and more than 80 firefighters were on the scene at 1st and O'Fallon. The five-story building is north of the Horseshoe Casino.
No injuries were reported. The building had multiple collapses as crews used water trucks to get the blaze under control. The smoke could be seen for miles.
