Former President Donald Trump will not be endorsing Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler in Missouri's Republican U.S. Senate primary.
Trump posted on Truth Social that Hartzler called him Friday morning asking for his endorsement-quote- "as she has on many other occasions". He posted that "I was anything but positive in that I don’t think she has what it takes to take on the Radical Left Democrats" He added,, "I was very nice to Vicky on the call, but will not be endorsing her for the senate".
Hartzler responded on her Facebook page, posting in part, “The endorsement that counts is the endorsement of the Missouri people who know I am one of them and have been fighting for them." She added that she believes Missourians will send her to the Senate to, "Take back our country for the values we hold dear and the conservative solutions our country desperately needs to make america great again."

The ultimate arbiters in this race are the good people of Missouri who will come out on August 2 and, I believe, send me, as one of them, to the U.S. Senate to take back our country for the values we hold dear and the conservative solutions our country desperately needs to Make America Great Again.
I appreciate the leadership President Trump brought to our nation and his America First policies that I supported more than any other Senate candidate in the country. It is what our nation needs and what I will continue to champion as Missouri’s next U.S. Senator.
