ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - One person was critically injured, and three others seriously hurt - including a St. Louis firefighter - after fire broke out at the Geneva Apartments on Nothingham Avenue in the south city around 12:30 PM Friday.

It's unclear what started the second floor unit burning. At least one person in an adjacent apartment was rescued. St. Louis Fire says 32 units in the three-story complex were occupied at the time of the fire. The firefighter was last reported in serious, but stable condition.
