ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Many Americans in the last year have figured out a way to do their jobs successfully from essentially anywhere in the country that they can get a strong cellphone signal. And if you're looking to spend a day at work surrounded by gorgeous scenery, the Gateway Arch National Park is the best spot.
A new study found that the gem of downtown St. Louis has the fastest download speed of any National Park in the U.S. According to data from Speedtest, Gateway Arch has the best mobile internet performance, availability and coverage.
The No. 1 ranking is also great news for anyone who visits the park and wants to brag to all their social media followers. With the No. 1 upload speed as well, you can easily post photos and live stream video at the top of the Gateway Arch.
"In the U.S., Gateway Arch National Park and Cuyahoga Valley National Park both show service in all or most of the park," SpeedTest reports. "This is not surprising given that Gateway Arch covers only 91 (mostly flat) acres in St. Louis."
Here's the rest of the parks on the top-10 list:
There's also a list of the National Parks with the worst download speeds, if you're looking to disconnect from the cellular world as much as possible. Some of those include Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, Badlands in South Dakota, Kings Canyon in California, Mesa Verde in Colorado and Yellowstone in Wyoming.
