ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Mayor Mike Kehoe released the following statement on deploying Missouri's National Guard on a humanitarian mission in St Louis, following last Friday's deadly tornado.

We are thankful for the efforts of the men and women of the @Missouri_
NG in this mission. Recovery will take time, but our state agencies remain committed to partnering with local officials to assist affected residents and businesses.
As of now, no federal disaster declaration has been declared by President Trump. Friday, he approved disaster declarations for the March and April tornadoes and storms in Missouri.
