Terrence Darnell Gleason, 51, has been charged with four counts each of Robbery 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action, and one count of both Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Stealing. He allegedly robbed a string of QuikTrip locations using the threat of a handgun.

He stated that he used to date a woman who worked for QT, so he was familiar with their security procedure and system, according to police.

In most cases he would take cartons of cigarettes from the QT. In one instance on Dec. 12, he stole $85 and two donuts with the threat of a handgun, police say.

Gleason admitted to selling the cigarettes to a local grocery store to make money to buy drugs. He also told police his nickname is "Greedy."

He targeted the QT at 9099 Natural Bridge Rd. on Dec. 5, 6 and 11. He targeted the QT at 5909 Howdershell Rd. on Dec. 10. He targeted the QT at 11150 St. Charles Rock Rd. on Dec. 12.

The court ordered him held on a $1 million bond, cash only.
