Less than a week after Affton High School was tagged with hate speech and swastikas on the side of the building, similar graffiti was found on a building within the same district, Rogers Middle School.
According to a statement from Superintendent Travis Brock, the vandalism was covered and not visible when students arrived for school Wednesday.
The statement goes on to say:
"We are outraged that our community has been targeted by another act of hate. Let us be clear: There is absolutely no place for hate in Affton School District. These actions do not define who we are. Our response—standing together in rejection of racism, bigotry, and fear—does."
KMOX reporter Sean Malone was outside Rogers as district crews removed the graffiti by hand scrubbing the brick.
