Here's how teachers can get 'moon trees' in classroom

ST. LOUIS- Teachers around the country have the opportunity to had "moon tree" in their classrooms.

Nearly 2000 tree seeds travelled to the Moon and back to Earth aboard the Artemis I.

Kelly McCarthy, Education Program Specialist for NASA's Office of STEM Engagement joined Total Information A.M. to talk the education of moon trees and how teachers can get seedlings that traveled to space.

Recipients of a Moon Tree seedling will be encouraged to develop educational opportunities to connect students, schools, and communities to the ARTEMIS mission.

Teachers will have the chance to create interactive lessons around the Moon Tree through NASA's Moon Tree STEM Tool Kit or implement their own STEM curriculum.
