ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Severe storms will be possible in the greater St. Louis area Friday night with winds up to 60 mph and strong tornadoes are possible, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a "moderate" chance of severe thunderstorms this evening in areas south of St. Louis like Cape Girardeau, but St. Louis is still under the slightly lower "enhanced" risk.
NWS says the storms will be in the area between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m. overnight.
