WRIGHT CITY, MO (KMOX) - Two people are dead, including an infant following a fire in a home Wright City home.
First responders were dispatched to the 200 block of Westwoods Road tonight (Friday) evening when they arrived the house was burning Three people were able to escape, but were told two others remained in the home.
A firefighter and police officer entered the burning home and found an infant and then a 23-year old woman. Investigators say both victims died, along with two dogs. It took several fire departments to bring the blaze under control.
The Wright City Fire Protection District says the investigation has been turned over to the Missouri Division of Fire Safety.
