CEMA Commissioner Sarah Russell was placed on leave back in May, days after it was announced confusion around policy resulted in sirens not being activated during the May 16th tornado.
Mayor Cara Spencer says she remains on leave while investigations continue.
"Pending both an internal and external investigation of both the tornado sirens and some of the other issues immediately following the tornado."
Earlier this week, Mayor Cara Spencer says one of those investigations is complete.
"The internal investigation was completed about two weeks ago."
The external investigation remains ongoing with Spencer saying it is her belief it will wrap up shortly.
Spencer commits to making the findings of each report public when both are complete.
"I think its important that we share that information with the public."
