Bob Hardy: KMOX Radio Documentary

"Bob Hardy was the Walter Cronkite of St. Louis." -Bob Costas

During his 33 year career with KMOX, Bob Hardy was the respected news authority for the entire region.

In the book, "At Your Service, KMOX and Bob Hardy: Pioneers of Talk Radio," Bob Costas said, "He had one of the best deliveries for a newsman on the radio that I have ever heard, because it was simultaneously authoritative and warm. He could be conversational and yet have that classic old style arrogance. He sounded well informed without ever posing as an expert. He never talked down to the audience."
