It broke out after 11:30 a.m. in the 8700 block of Xograph Avenue in Jennings, Missouri. There were many chemicals still inside the building.

The plant was previously used to manufacture x-ray plates and then bowling balls, but authorities say it hadn't been in operation for a few years.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

There are no reports of injuries.
