Jones expressed how important it was to her that people were able to make choices about their own reproductive health.

"I've been open many times about how I never planned to get pregnant with my son 14 years ago," Jones said on Monday. "But I had the family network and support I needed -- even if money was tight for a bit -- to give him the good upbringing and the love he deserves. I was in a position to make that decision. And I made the right one for me."

When reporters asked Jones about the possibility of using ARPA funds for the reproductive fund, she said she expects they will be sued immediately and that it will be turned over to the courts.
