St. Louis (KMOX) -- Local officials will tour the Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant on Wednesday to tour the facility and highlight needs for water infrastructure.

Mayor Tishaura Jones, Congresswoman Cori Bush, EPA Administrator Michael Regan, and Director of Public Utilities Curt Skouby will visit at 11:30 AM.

KMOX will have coverage of the event throughout the day on air, online, and on the Audacy App.

Parts of the Chain of Rocks plant are more than 100 years old and are in need of hundreds of millions of dollars in upgrades. President Joe Biden's American Jobs Plan includes $111 billion in water infrastructure investments in local communities across the country.
