If you're driving around the Downtown area, you might notice banners with legendary St. Louisans.
It's a new program created by Greater St. Louis Inc and they've teamed up with Steve Shankman of Contemporary Productions.
"We were trying to do something that brings the narrative: what is great about St. Louis? One thing great about St. Louis, if you look at other cities in the country, when you think about per capita, we have more legends probably than any other city in America."
Shankman says these 7ft banners will create civic pride and they will show off just what the Saint Louis region has and continues to produce.
Funding came from several different sponsors, like Stifel, Greater St. Louis Inc., and Worldwide Technology.
