District 5 Councilwoman Lisa Clancy says the Maplewood Police Department is on the case and that the driver has been suspended. She says on Monday her husband was picked up for a ride by the Lyft driver. When he asked the driver to put on a mask the driver "just cocked a gun," she says.

She says the incident made her husband miss his flight to New York City. She also says because the driver canceled the ride there was not way to report him. However, Lyft responded to her tweet and she has been working with them since.

"We are working with Lyft but they seem more concerned about driver privacy then giving us the info we need," she tweeted.

She tweeted about the latest update on Tuesday morning, saying she's "satisfied with how Lyft is handling this at this point. Grateful to those who have reached out with kind words."
