LAKE SAINT LOUIS (KMOX) - A man who began a shootout with police officers in Lake Saint Louis Thursday night was wounded.

Police say no officers were injured when the 47-year-old man "exited the vehicle with two handguns and began firing at officers." The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at Technology Drive and South Henke Road.

No officers were injured.

It began, police say, when police responded to a call about a domestic disturbance and the suspect sped off when officers arrived.

The suspect was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Police are seeking charges this morning.
