ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Mercy and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield have signed a new multi-year agreement providing Anthem members continued access to what Mercy calls affordable, high-quality care at all Mercy hospitals, outpatient care centers and physician offices across Missouri.
The multi-year agreement comes as an end of the year deadline to get a deal done was growing closer.
With the new contract, Anthem members covered by Anthem employer-based, Medicare Advantage and Affordable Care Act Marketplace health plans in Missouri will have uninterrupted in-network access to Mercy doctors and care sites.
Missouri Care, Inc., known as Healthy Blue, also reached a deal for its Medicaid plans.
Healthy Blue members will keep uninterrupted in-network access to Mercy doctors and care sites.
