ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - A registered sex offender who traveled from Oklahoma to North Carolina to give a ride to a teen runaway has been arrested in Kirkwood.
St. Louis County prosecutors charged 30-year-old Christopher Porter on Thursday with statutory rape, sodomy, child pornography possession, and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Kirkwood Police found Porter and a sixteen-year-old girl parked in the Lowe's store lot on Wednesday and began asking questions.
They've been coordinating with police in North Carolina with their initial investigation.
Porter and the juvenile reportedly met online.
