ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A Missouri man was found guilty by a jury Thursday of molesting three girls at a day care he worked at.
Tony Brown, 67, was found guilty of first-degree statutory sodomy and two counts of second-degree child molestation in relation to molesting three girls from 2019-2020 at the the day he worked at.
"Children who are the victims of molestation may carry emotional damage with them all their lives," said Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore. "I am grateful for the diligence of our team in working with these young victims and their families to bring this man to justice."
On June 26, 2020, Brown was charged with molesting two girls at the House of Montessori Education, who are no longer in operation, at 7814 South Broadway.
On Feb.26, 2021, Brown was charged with molesting a third girl a few months before the other two after the girl recognized him from news reports and told her mother that he had touched her inappropriately.
Brown will 12 years in prison on the sodomy charge, and 10 years' imprisonment for the two molestation charges.
A judge will determine on Jan. 23, 2024 if the sentences will run consecutively or concurrently.
