The State Supreme Court has ordered a lower court to vacate rulings that had allowed abortions to resume after voters approved Amendment 3 (which enshrined the right to an abortion in the state constitution). The high court said the judge applied the wrong legal standard. Planned Parenthood is calling the ruling devastating. But Attorney General Andrew Bailey says it's a win for women and children, calling the ruling, "a win for common sense, for basic medical safety, and for the sanctity of human life."

The high court says the Jackson County judge must apply a different legal test and re-evaluate the case.
