Missouri's Attorney General updates KMOX on his case to get the city's Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner removed for "willful neglect of office."
"This goes well beyond incompetence, this is unlawful refusal to do her job," says Attorney General Andrews Bailey explaining the three tenets of his case, that Gardner and her office: 1) refuse to prosecute cases that languish, 2) refuse to inform and confer with victims, and 3) refuse to file new cases referred by police.
KMOX asked Bailey about the woman who was beaten outside a grocery store and couldn't get suspect details from the prosecutor. "This represents a continuous pattern of behavior."
