The first happened Saturday morning in the 1900 block of North 14th Street. The second victim was pronounced dead before 1:00 Saturday afternoon in the 53-hundred block of Mackland.

This now brings the drug overdose death toll to nine since last weekend. A woman was arrested in connection with last week's overdoses.

St. Louis DEA Assistant Special Agent in Charge Colin Dickey says they're hoping to make more arrests, "We go up the ladder, targeting the organizations that are manufacturing fentanyl, crystal meth, and other substances in large quantities."

Dickey says parents should warn their kids not to buy any drugs on line or from social media apps, because even fake prescription pills can be laced with fentanyl.
