The grandstands at WWT Raceway hold The 57,000 spectators. In a statement, Curtis Francois, Owner and CEO of World Wide Technology Raceway, says, “We knew our fans were hungry for a NASCAR Cup Series race and the response since the announcement in September has been tremendous." The race begins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and will be broadcast on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM.

Executive Vice President & General Manager of World Wide Technology Raceway, Chris Blair, joined Tom Ackerman and Carol Daniel on Total Information AM Wednesday, to talk about the first-ever, sold-out event.
"It's hard to believe from where we were ten years ago," says Blair. You can hear the complete interview through the link below.

Organizers say a limited number of tickets remain for Friday’s “Richard Petty Day” activities including qualifying and practice laps. Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race also has spaces for fans available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wwtraceway.com

The race weekend starts Thursday, June 2nd with the Ballpark Village Fan Fest at 4 pm. No ticket is required for that event.

Other things organizers want fans to take note of:

• There will be no walk-up ticket options or general admission. Tickets are not available onsite.

• Parking passes must be purchased online prior to arrival. Please follow the routes posted on wwtraceway.com. IDOT, ISP and the track have worked closely to create the traffic plan that may be different than routes used in the past.
