ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Opening Day for the beginning for the 2024 MLB Season is Thursday, but at Busch Stadium, those festivities won't happen for another week.
The Cardinals are gearing up for their 18th Opening Day at the new Busch Stadium on Thursday, April 4 against the Miami Marlins and while the excitement is in the air for the Clydesdales and the players to finally get to the ballpark, fans should also be excited by the plenty of new food and services at the ballpark when you come in.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Cardinals organization invited media members, including KMOX, to take a look at what's new at Busch Stadium for 2024 and there's a lot new, especially when it comes to food.
The most notable addition is the introduction of FarmTruk, a woman-owned business making its Busch Stadium debut in 2024. FarmTruk has been in operation for about eight years, making stops at some of St. Louis's biggest events, including having a stand of its own during St. Louis City SC games at CITYPARK.

The FarmTruk stand, located at section 338, just near the Freddy Steakhouse, will feature some delicious meals for fans, which include two different types of Gooey Butter Cake and some delicious Rueben.
You also won't have to go far to see some new food at Busch Stadium, with the stadium offering seven different new food offerings.

Among the foods that will be offered will include The Slinger Dog, a 1/3 pound all-beef hot dog with hash browns and two sunny-side-up fried eggs on it at the Top Dog portable near Section 132, The Triple Play BBQ Box, a 1/2 pound of brisket, turkey and pulled pork with BBQ Seasoning available at Broadway BBQ near Section 109, and the Wacho! Frozen Custard and Waffle Nacho Sundae, available at Dingers and Donuts near Section 151.

For fans who can't wait in line and need a quick on-the-run meal, Busch Stadium also has that covered, with the Farmer's Fridge, a new vending machine that will feature sandwiches and salads. The fridges will be available at two locations; Schnucks Grab N Go Market near Section 158 and inside the Redbird Club.

If you want to get some sweets, say some Cotton Candy, you will find some good news here: Busch Stadium now has a Cotton Candy machine!

The machine has four different flavors of cotton candy and what is unique about it is fans can select from among 12 different types of styles what style they want their cotton candy design to look like and you and your kids can watch the machine design and make it's cotton candy.

When the Cardinals host their home opener next Thursday against the Miami Marlins, or whenever Cardinals Nation can attend a home game, be sure to stop by any of the restaurants located around Busch Stadium to take a look and try out the new food being offered at every Cardinals home game this season.
