ST. LOUIS (KMOX)--New bodycam footage released by the St. Louis City Police Department shows its response to the May 16th tornado. The video shows officers making "welfare checks" on neighbors and helping to move debris. Another instance shows a tornado victim being driven to the hospital. Then, the video flips to an officer starting a human chain to remove bricks in order to free someone under rubble.

"I've seen first hand the incredible strength and resilience from our community and our neighbors," Chief Robert Tracy said in the video, "and that's what gives us hope for what's ahead."
