FOUND SAFE: Police say St. Louis girl, 12, left with woman posing as family services worker

ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX) updated - Authorities say the missing 12-year-old who left her home with a woman believed to be posing as a social worker has been found safe.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an Endangered Person Advisory for Jariah Hickman around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.  The girl was last seen getting into a Black Chevy Impala in Walnut Park West near Jennings.

Police believe the woman driving the car may be posing as a Department of Family Services caseworker.   The Department says they did not take custody of the girl.

Authorities says the girl was found safe around 9 a.m.

The car was last seen in the 5400 block of Hamilton Avenue.

Jariah Hickman is a black female, 5'4" in height, 170 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, light brown complexion.  She was last seen wearing a red jacket and black pants with white stripes.

The unknown female subject was wearing a black pea coat and khaki pants.
