Veterans and first responders need an alternative treatment for PTSD and trauma, according to supporters of bills in the Missouri House and Senate that seeks $2-million for clinical trials of psilocybin, or psychedelics.

Trey Warren is a Navy veteran and former Top Gun pilot who flew 192 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety and depression. He also attempted suicide three times. Anti-depressants and talk therapy weren't working, but psilocybin did. He wants others to have access to the same treatment. Hear his KMOX interview.
