ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A former St. Louis TV anchor is set to make his return to the city where he grew up to be honored as a 'Living Legend'.
Russ Mitchell, who some St. Louisans know for a stints with KTVI and KMOV in the late 1980s and a weekend anchor at CBS Evening News, is set to be honored by the St. Louis Black Journalists Association during the weekend as a 'Living Legend'
The St. Louis-native, who now works in Cleveland as a anchor at WYKC, joined Total Information A.M. Thursday to discuss his career, how he got into the business even while still being a high school senior at Webster Groves High School, his time with CBS News, and how the media world has changed since he got into it.
