HAZELWOOD (KMOX) -- A St. Louis County police officer suffered minor injuries on Monday while responding to a series of fights at the North County Recreation Complex on Redman Ave.
The pool was closed during its opening weekend because of the disturbance.
Social media videos show a large crowd outside the front entrance and bystanders posted about a large police presence at the facility.
Police say two people were arrested for weapons violations. No details on the officer's injury were immediately available.
County police tell KMOX News there were "several" fights just after noon among the large group of youth who'd gathered at the pool.
