EUREKA (KMOX) - A call about shoplifters at a Walmart in Eureka resulted in a 35-mile police chase on multiple highways in the St. Louis area.
On Sunday around 9:30 p.m., the chase ended in north St. Louis County near Winchester and Crestland Drives. Police say that's where two suspects were arrested and charges are pending.
The pair were allegedly stealing a TV from the store in Eureka when police arrived on the scene. The suspect got into a truck, rammed into a police vehicle and took off, police say.
The chase lasted about 40 minutes, covered more than 35 miles of Interstate 44, Interstate 70 and other roads. Police say they were able to deflate the suspect's tires.
There were no reports of injuries in the incident.
