The Metropolitan Sewer District is working on repairing the two large sinkholes that opened up in St. Louis over the weekend.
The larger located on Cass Avenue in North City has required MSD to outsource to a contractor according to Spokesperson Bess McCoy. She says the work could take a month.

"It's a pretty complicated project - 20 feet deep about 40 feet wide," she tells KMOX's Sean Malone.
The smaller hole on Park Avenue is likely to be completed first.

"We've removed most of the debris and are making those repairs. We hope to have that street returned within about 2 to 3 weeks."
