EUREKA, Mo. (KMOX) - Six Flags announced it will be reopening all of its theme parks and waterparks this year.

Six Flags St. Louis will open for its 50th Anniversary season on March 20.

The park will kick off the season with a Spring Break Event that will run March 20 & 21 and 24 – 28. The park will be open weekends only until late May when daily operation begins, and our 50th Anniversary Celebration will begin on June 5 and run for 50 days.

Just like in 2020, the parks will follow CDC and local Health Department guidelines to keep guests and employees safe.

"Last year, we set the standard for operating our parks safely, and entertained millions of guests in adherence to government, and CDC health guidelines at 21 of our 26 parks," said Senior Vice President of Park Operations Bonnie Weber. "We kept our guests and team members safe by requiring masks to be worn in the parks, providing contactless temperature and security screenings, enhancing our cleaning and sanitization measures, and closely monitoring attendance throughout operating hours in order to maintain proper social distancing

The park is getting ready for opening with virtual hiring going on weekly to fill over 1,500 remaining positions as well as preparing rides, restaurants and other areas for guest’s return. Click here for more information.
