ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - If you're planning to head to Six Flags this weekend you should be aware of some health and safety guidelines that are being relaxed. The St. Louis theme parks is doing away with its reservation policy, temperature screenings and face mask mandate for fully vaccinated guests.
A statement says the new face mask policy will go into effect on Saturday.
"In adherence with new guidance from the CDC, local and state recommendations, guests and team members who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will no longer be required to wear masks while in the park," states a Six Flags St. Loius spokesperson. "Consistent with CDC guidance, we will continue to recommend masks for unvaccinated individuals, including guests and team members."
The park is back to 100% capacity so guest are also no longer required to make reservations in advance to get into the park. Guests will also no longer have to social distance while standing in line, on rides, indoors or on park midways, nor will guests be subject to a temperature screening before entering the park.
