Last year's parade was held virtually because of the pandemic.

The annual Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. near Union Station and proceed down Market Street to Soldiers Memorial. It marks the return of an in-person parade.

The 6th annual Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk hosted by the St. Patrick's Center will begin at 9:30 a.m. that morning. And following the parade there will be a ceremony and concert with “Starlifter” (USAF Band of Mid-America) at Soldiers Memorial.

“The City of St. Louis honors the sacrifices and service of veterans from across our region,” said Mayor Tishaura O. Jones. “Our city is appreciative all of the partners, including the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum, St. Patrick’s Center, the USAF, and more coming together to help make this important event happen.”

“We are endlessly grateful for the service and sacrifices of our US service members, past and present,” said Mark Sundlov, director of Soldiers Memorial Military Museum. “Since 1919 the City of St. Louis has proudly recognized its veterans on what is now known as Veterans Day. Soldiers Memorial operated by the Missouri Historical Society is proud to collaborate with the City and St. Patrick’s Center to bring back the annual Veterans Day Observance which will include a family fun 5K, parade, ceremony, and concert.”
