ALTON, Ill. (KMOX) - If you or someone you know will be in need of a free meal this holiday, let them know about St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
The church in Alton, Ill. is holding a drive-thru and walk-thru free dinner event on Christmas day. It starts at 11 a.m. at 427 Market St., Alton.

They request that those who plan to attend make a reservation online, here. But walk- or drive-in guests will also be served.
This will be the eighth annual free Christmas dinner drive for the church and this year they plan to hand out up to 200 meals, according to Advantage News. The menu includes turkey, ham, dressing, macaroni and cheese, green beans, dinner rolls, and dessert.
The church asks for everyone to wear and mask and practice safe social distancing.
