ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Board of Alderman wants your help in figuring out how should spend the remaining $250 million in settlement money from the Rams relocation saga.

On Monday, the city opened up a survey in regards to the settlement, which is split into four parts.

The first part of the survey will be up until mid-October. There are only two asked in regards to the survey with the both questions in regards with challenges that you or people you know have faced.

The second part of the survey will open on Oct. 14 and that survey will stay until Halloween, and it will let surveyors decide on the most priority challenges. On Nov. 1st the third part of the survey will up, which let residents give feedback on ideas in regard to the priority challenges.

A vote on ideas will not take place until Nov. 16 and the voting process will last until Jan. 31, 2024

The city will also have three more Board of Alderman meetings on the calendar in regards to the settlement money. The first meeting will be on Sept. 25, with the other two meeting scheduled for Oct. 25 and Dec. 2nd.

No location has been set for any of the three meetings, but the September and October meetings will take place from 6-9 p.m. on both dates while the December will take a place a little bit earlier at 11 a.m. and it will last until 2 p.m.

The Rams relocation settlement rewarded the area with $790 million in December 2021. Around a third of the money alone went towards attorney fees. The remaining money has been split between St. Louis City, St. Louis County and the St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Authority.

Per the settlement, the St. Louis City has around $250 million saved into an interest-bearing account with the Missouri Securities Investment Program, and it was required to spend $30 million by June.
