St. Louis Firefighters respond to fire in St. Louis City; No one trapped or injured from fire

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Firefighters were dispatched to a residence in the intersection of Davison and Theodore Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

According to the St. Louis Fire Department on X, formerly known as Twitter, the fire was taking place at one story house, with heavy fire showing in the rear in the building. The fire also extended into another exposed building.

The Fire Department says that a search was underway in the building after reports of children reportedly trapped in the building. However, a firefighter battalion reported that no one was trapped or injured from the fire.

St. Louis Fire Department says the fire is under control in both buildings with overhauling and ventilation currently ongoing.

It still remains unclear how the fire started.
