1. Metro Academic and Classical High School - St. Louis
2. Lincoln College Prep. - Kansas City
3. Ladue Horton Watkins High - Ladue
4. Clayton High - Clayton
5. Kirkwood Sr. High - Kirkwood
6. McKinley Classical Leadership Academy - St. Louis
7. Parkway West High School - Ballwin
8. Lafayette Sr. High - Wildwood
9. Marquette Sr. High - Chesterfield
10. Lindbergh Sr. High - St. Louis County
The schools were ranked "on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college." You won't find local private schools such as De Smet Jesuit, St. Joseph's Academy or Bishop DuBourg on this list.
Metro Academic and Classical High School – the top school in Missouri – was No. 137 in the country.
