SAINT LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - Pandemic restrictions are easing at one local healthcare system. SSM Health has now lifted its visitor restrictions due to a decrease in COVID-19 illnesses.
All adult SSM hospitals will no longer restrict visitors for non-COVID positive patients. The age restriction on visitors has also been lifted.
COVID positive patients are still under a strict, no visitor policy.
SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital still has some special visitor policies in place.
The masking policy does however remain in effect at all hospitals.
