ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - In a video that has since been deleted from Twitter, Aldermanic President Lewis Reed requested city Treasurer Tishaura Jones's staff come back to his street and pick up the trash he says they left there.
The video was shared Wednesday morning, after Reed finished in third place, behind Jones, in the St. Louis mayoral race. Jones will face Alderwoman Cara Spencer in the general election on April 6.
The tweet, posted at 7:37 a.m. Wednesday, is the first public statement Reed made after the primary loss. The video showed pieces of various Jones-related campaign materials littered on his street.
".@tishaura please come have your staff pick up the lit (sic) they decided to litter my street with. Myself and my neighbors do not appreciate the trash," the now deleted tweet stated.

Reed declined an interview with KMOX on Tuesday night.
