A St. Louis shelter in need of repairs is also in need of foster parents this holiday season.
CARE STL says it must repair flooring to comply with state regulations, so it has to move its dogs out temporarily by Dec. 18. They've already put about 40 dogs in the care of volunteers but there are still about a hundred more that need a temporary home. So, if you're looking for a little company this holiday season..
"People can sign up to foster or to adopt on our website and then talk us either in person or by phone," said the shelter's Dr. Abbie Atteberry. "We have a matchmaking process to find a dog that will fit your lifestyle, your family."
The website is www.icarestl.org. CARE STL is located at 2700 Walnut Pl, St. Louis, MO 63103.
