ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There's a freeze on rescues at a local animal shelter. Stray Rescue of Saint Louis CEO Cassady Caldwell posted on social media Saturday that until twenty or more spots open up they will not be to take in any more animals.
She says they have more than 200 puppies looking for homes, and they are out of space.
She's asking that people fill out a foster or adoption application online and get approved to come down and help out the situation.
Stray Rescue's located on Pine Street in downtown west.
