ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Torrential rains and in some places, golf ball sized hail made for a tricky commute home tonight (Thursday) afternoon and evening.
Just as the storms appeared to me moving out, another round moved in. There were reports of a tornado in Maizetown in the Metro East, however, Monroe County Deputies said there was very little damage.

But dozens and dozens of people could not escape the hail. Several car dealers are also dealing with inventory that in some cases was completely destroyed by the hail.
There were cars that were obliterated by the hail.
