An overnight house fire in Troy, Illinois, leaves three people dead.
The Madison County Sheriff's office says it's deputies and firefighters with the Troy Fire Department responded to a house fire with people trapped inside around 11:15 p.m. Sunday night. They believe there was an explosion as well.
While several residents were able to escape the house without injuries, firefighters found three individuals deceased inside the house. One additional person was found with significant burn injuries and taken to a nearby hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, but the Sheriff's office says is there is no known threat to the community at this time.
