ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It's like the Super Bowl for anyone who grew up in St. Louis – a new ranking of school districts and high schools in the area and across the state.
Here are the 10 best districts in the St. Louis area, according to Niche:
1. Ladue School District
2. School District of Clayton
3. Kirkwood School District
4. Rockwood R-VI School District
5. Parkway School District
6. Brentwood School District
7. Webster Groves School District
8. Francis Howell School District
9. Pattonville R-3 School District
10. Lindbergh Schools

The education data website says to create the ranking it used "rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and more."
The Pittsburgh-based company also ranked the best public high schools in the state – with nine of the top-10 taken by St. Louis-area schools. The top-10 are:
1. Ladue Horton Watkins High School
2. Clayton High School
3. Lafayette High School
4. Kirkwood Senior High School
5. Parkway West High School
6. Parkway Central High School
7. Marquette Senior High School
8. Rock Bridge High School
